OpenAI's real revenue is $18 billion lower than the number investors had been quoting

OpenAI told investors it generated about $50 billion in annualized revenue at the end of September, roughly $18 billion below the widely-quoted $68 billion figure. Nvidia, Oracle, and CoreWeave fell hard on the revision.
