SpaceXSI will sell one subscription that covers everything it makes. The company announced the X Subscription on October 12, 2026, bundling Grok, Cursor and X Premium into a single monthly plan that starts at $8.

The announcement came in a single line on X: "We've unified plans across Grok, Cursor, and X Premium. Introducing The X Subscription."

The move matters beyond pricing. It pulls a chatbot, a coding tool and a social network into one bill, and it signals how far the company has traveled since its rebrand. Elon Musk renamed the company — formerly SpaceXAI — to SpaceXSI after President Donald Trump pushed to replace the term "artificial intelligence" with "super intelligence."

What do you get at each tier?

The X Subscription comes in four levels, each stacking on the last.

  • Plus, $8 a month. Access to Grok Chat, Voice, Imagine and Build, plus the Grok API and Cursor for coding. On X, you get Premium features: a checkmark, fewer ads on your timeline, enhanced creator tools and advanced analytics.
  • Premium, $30 a month. Everything in Plus, plus Grok Bot, the latest Grok models, AI image and video generation through Grok, and faster chat responses. Cursor adds code hosting, cloud agents and automations. X throws in ad-free scrolling and the ability to secure your preferred handle.
  • Super, $100 a month. Everything above, plus priority access to Grok models at peak times.
  • Ultra, $200 a month. The earliest access to all products and models, and 20 times the usage capacity of Plus.

The Premium, Super and Ultra plans are also available for teams. Enterprise customers can get customized plans directly from the company.

Why is this more than a pricing change?

The bundle reflects how much the company's product portfolio has consolidated in a short time. SpaceXSI acquired the coding startup Cursor in August 2026. Three months later, Cursor sits inside the same subscription as Grok and X Premium.

That speed is the story. A coding tool bought in August, a chatbot family, and a social network's premium tier now share one checkout page, one price ladder and one identity — the checkmark.

The tier structure also shows where the company expects revenue to concentrate. The gap between $8 and $200 a month is steep, and the top tiers sell access rather than features: priority at peak times, earliest model access, and 20x usage capacity. Those are the perks that matter to heavy users and teams, not casual ones.

The company has priced the entry tier to match a coffee run. Whether that pulls enough individual users up the ladder — from Plus to Premium to Super to Ultra — will determine if the unified plan is a genuine restructuring of the business or a discount with a new name.

For now, the direction is clear. SpaceXSI is selling one membership, and it wants that membership to be the way people reach every product it ships.
